Guatemala Mission What We Believe Guatemala Fund Donations Here Slide Show |
This missionary effort is under the authority of Unity MBC of Bowling Green Ky Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Good news from Guatemala.Since we have moved here the Lord has blessed. We are now settled in and we are comfortable that this is are new home.We have had one that told us about getting saved back in October.Sister Wendy Barrios. She joined and was Baptized into Unity Missionary Baptist Church. My oldest son Caleb has been saved. This makes six that we know of since the work started here in Coban. We have had a lady that joined and after hearing her testimony we have taken her in also by Baptism. She was already saved before she came but she relized that this is the true way. We need prayers that God will grant us a bus in some way. We have between 20 to 30 people coming regular. We have more at times the Last Sunday of Febuary we have 42 present. This takes up about 3 to 4 hours a Sunday getting people to and from Church. This is done using the van we drove down in March 2007. This van has really taken a beating just trying to get people to Church since it is just a 7 passenger van. This van is really the legs of getting people here and I dont know what we will do without it. Thats the reason we are asking for prayers for a bus.We would like to thank everyone that has supported us in prayers and for your monitary gifts we know the Lord see's them also. This work wouldnt be possible without God's people. So please remember the work in Guatemala In His service, Elder Johnathan Hunton
